Attilio Reinhardt is an italian bon vivant who appreciates arts and theatre.
He's working to diffuse real burlesque in his nation, where this kind of performing art is not well known; due to this fact, he has ironically self proclaimed himself as the Ambassador of burlesque in Italy.
In 2006 he has created www.burlesque.it: the first italian web site dedicated to this performing art, its history and culture.
In 2007 Attilio Reinhardt has founded BurlesqueItalia: a project to stage high quality burlesque shows with national and foreign artists, in italian clubs and theaters.
The same year he has invited Cecilia Bravo - primadonna of canadian burlesque - in Rome, to teach a workshop for aspiring strippers.
Then another international collaboration for the Burlesque Artists for Peace project: a video produced and directed by the stripper Lola Ramona and realized with a group of burlesque performer from all over the World, of which Attilio Reinhardt and the artists of BurlesqueItalia are the only italians.
His duty as an ambassador is to promote and expand burlesque in Italy, even on stage: so he hosts burlesque live shows as a smart and ironic emcee in several venues (Connie Douglas, Fitzcarraldo Bretz Lounge in Milan), chatting with the audience, telling jokes and little facts from burlesque history.
He's also author of Burlesque, the first italian book about this performing art.
